PCR

Virgin material - Reference

With this bottle made of white virgin material and a dyed outer layer, we would like to demonstrate that the PCR bottles that are also included in this bag have no color changes. With our ReCo3 technology, the use of PCR materials does not affect the color brilliance and uniqueness of your plastic parts.

Every PCR, no matter how gray, or even black, can be perfectly covered by an outer layer. There is no need to use white PCR. White PCR materials are very hard to come by in what is already a very small market. They will also always be in short supply, as they are unfortunately too often mixed with colors and then also become gray or dark PCR. Some manufacturers of PCR have moved to selling white PCR's only to processors who also make white hollow bodies from the material again, so that it remains white in the next recycle cycle.

Therefore, in the long run, only gray or dark PCR will be available to most processors. As you can see from our bottles, with W. MÜLLER blow molding technology, it is completely irrelevant how dark the PCR is.

MÜLLER-green remains MÜLLER-green, whether on a white background, or black! Truly performing!

Systalen gray

Post-consumer recyclates, or PCRs for short, all have one thing in common: they conserve resources because the plastic from our recyclable waste is recycled and reprocessed to be used multiple times as granules for reblowing plastic parts.

We have had experience with a wide variety of PCRs in our pilot plant, all of which can be processed perfectly with a W. MÜLLER extrusion head and a W. MÜLLER extruder.

For our PCR bag, we made bottles with PCR's from different manufacturers and with different color shades. This is to show that it is not relevant how dark the PCR used is. On a W. MÜLLER extrusion line and a W. MÜLLER extrusion head, you can easily cover any PCR flawlessly with a dyed outer layer in the color of your choice, thus ensuring a flawless appearance of your hollow bodies despite the use of recycled material.

All PCR materials used in this sample series are 100% PCR and not compounds. They can be processed smoothly on a W. MÜLLER line and they are all suitable for contact with cosmetic products.
