In our advanced course Extrusion Blow Molding Level 3 you will learn in two days the typical topics of setting up or optimizing an EBM production with a focus on process engineering problems and challenges.

Among other things, we address the deeper approach to die design and optimization of a new production.

Also suitable for participants of the advanced course Extrusion Blow Molding Level 2.

The learning fields in detail:

      Theory:

      • Distinguishing between process engineering and process mechanics problems.
      • Material preparation: its pitfalls and error prevention
      • Color mixing and relationship to layer thickness (multilayer)
      • Regenerate + PCR mixing and influence on adjacent layers (mono + multilayer)
      • Nozzle tool design and nozzle concept
      • Creation of WDR profiles and influence of nozzle ovalization
      • Approach to processing new raw materials
      • Trouble shooting process technology (e.g. streaking, spots, discoloration)
      • Melt mixers and melt screens, when do I need what?
      • What do I do if... (analysis of customer-specific problems)

      Practice:

      • Mechanical set-up of a new production and first start-up.
      • Evaluation of measurement results of the article and transfer to machine settings for optimization
      • Simulation of error images on the article, analysis and elimination in the area of process mechanics
      • Simulation of error images on the article, analysis and elimination in the area of process engineering

For courses at the W. MÜLLER Academy:
The seminar days begin at 9:00 a.m. and end around 4:30 p.m. each day. We include sufficient breaks and allow times on both days for you to ask all your questions.
During the course you will be provided with all the materials you needed to carry out the practical parts. Hot and cold anti-alcoholic drinks, as well as food during the lunch break are also included in the price. (These circumstances differ in case of seminars in your localities.)
Exclusive services regardless of the place of implementation: travel, stay and local transport.

*Price per person, max. 10 participants. If there is more than one participant per company, the following scales apply:
      -10% from two participants
      -20% from 3 participants
